The Junior Chess Club meets at the Yacht Club at castle emplacement on the 1st and 3rd Thursday evening each month at 19:00 come along if you're interested. 19/02/2007 IM Robert Bellin simultaneousThe Guernsey Chess Federation has organised the Guernsey Junior Chess Championships since 1977 and the names of the winners of the 4 age categories are shown in the table below. Since 1992 the winner of the Under 18 category has been presented with the Chris Mahy Cup and since 1995 the winner of the Under 16 category receives the Dot Ogier Shield.
Local schools have organised an open tournament since 2000 and therefore this tournament has not been held since.
